Mo Parkers scathing review of the game lost by the Nearly All Blacks

Even before the game started Bumbles Player/Manager/Try Scorer Mark Goodwin started his skullduggery "misplacing" the Almost All Blacks shirts and replacing them with a blue and white substitute which of course caused confusion in the Almost All Blacks camp with the "are we Almost All Blacks or are we Almost Blue and Whites question?"
Having resolved the issue the Almosts took to the field and soon took an early lead with a try in the corner which was not converted.Referee Dodgy Dave Morris (sponsored by specsavers) kept the pressure on the Almosts with some " interesting" decisions. As the pressure mounted on the Almosts arguements caused a rift in the Warden family by Jason Warden claiming he was tougher than his dad David, having heard him squeal at the bottom of a ruck then changing his mind when David explained he was been laid on by "The Kevster".
The game changed when Matthew Warden had to go off with a dislocated shoulder-put back into place by dynamo scrum half Andy Withers (who was in the side because of his rugby ability and NOT because he is a doctor and could be useful in these fixtures).A few swops took place which livened up the game for approximately two minutes with Steve Taffy John the welsh wonder gracing the Almosts with his presence at centre.
Captain Paul Exley for once behaved himself and did not receive a card of any colour and with his halo dazzling the Bumbles defence fell over for a try (a feat he repeated in his afternoon game he informs me) unmodestly. With prop Darren Lee kicking at every opportunity thus avoiding being tackled and centre Ian Smith having been concussed or appearing to be by suggesting a run-a-round with fly- half Mo Parker, his answer being unprintable due to legal reasons made the match even more interesting.
The rumours that after his performance at full back, under thirteens coach Darren Murphy is being offered the position of first team kicking coach are unfounded as he is busy when they are training with his preferred hobby origami.
The try scorers for the Almosts were Skipper Paul Exley,Matthew Warden and on-loan flanker(from the Bumbles) Jim Scott a more permanent move was rejected because of his outrageous demands of team car with extra pedals. The single conversion came from the boot of Lee Hainsworth-not from the touch line.
A good match was spoilt by the yellow carding and sin-binning of Almosts experienced second rower Stuart Broadbent for an attempted trip on the Bumbles fly-half Steve John, his arguement that it was OK because he is welsh cutting no ice with referee Dave Morris.
