As expected it was challenging week for the boys and coaches whilst they endured the new RFU rules. Bemused parents stood and watched the new rules in play, whilst coaches raced up and down the side line keeping up with the scoring.
However into the 3rd minute of the game the boys got it. The BEES attacked in lightspeed fashion and between both teams they went on to scoring a seemless set of tries. As the minutes passed on the game appeared to get faster, scoring became almost impossible to keep up with and the boys got more hungry for tries.
With some brilliant sprinting and team play the boys touched down 25 times. Some great set ups from Jacob & Lewis and outstanding finishing from Alfie, Elliott, George and Sam saw the BEES accelerate the score line. But it was Ronan's intelligent dodging and strategic sprinting that won him man of the match.
Admittidly the new rules worked. They kept the game running, there was little stoppage and I don't think there was one player who didn't run and score.
Well done boys - you did great today!
