A Well Fought Battle Against Morley

Final game of the season before our trip to Hull for the Yorkshire Plate Final saw us travel to Morley.

It was clear that Morley had seen our results this year and were determined not to let us have everything our own way. After some strong forward play Bees eventually gained the upper hand by scoring 2 tries in relatively quick succession scored by Connor and Ruh with Byron converting one.

Yet again Morley dug in deep and defended very well against some strong running by Charlie, Jarred and Rhys.

It was Ruh and Byron who both showed there strength to score our next 2 tries with Byron going close on both occasions but narrowly missing the conversions.

At half time it was 22 -0 to the Bees.

The second half did not quite go plan with Morley scoring 2 tries and converting one giving them a quick 12 points.

Despite a solid display by Morley the Bees kept there composure to score a further 2 tries themselves through Byron and Kyle.

Well done to Jack Corrin and Harry who played the majority of the game doing a good job in the forwards against some stiff opposition.

Man of Match today went to Charlie. At times showed just how powerful his runs can be. I am sure there is much much more still to come from you Charlie!

Well done guys. Let's get to training Tuesday and prepare for our final in Hull next week.
