Third Time Lucky For The Lads finally come away with a win after the two side have met this season. Match Report this week is by Darren Murphy.

We travelled to Old Rishworthians today for round three of what has proven to be a great battle between two good teams. With both previous games resulting in draws there was everything to play for.
It was Old Rishworthians who started the game better, beating the Bees to the breakdown and distributing the ball to their backs. It has to be said that much against the flow of play is was the Bees who found themselves scoring the first try of the game. A great run by Will including a very clever chip gave us much needed field position eventually allowing Theo to cross the line.
This allowed the Bees to settle down and get into their pattern of play. Not long afterwards it was Patrick who finished off some very slick handling by a number of players to score our second try.
Old Rishworthians continued to make the Bees work very hard. Their back line looking very dangerous every time they attacked. Some great defensive work by both of the Bees wingers, Will And Will (makes it easy) kept the score line in favour of the Bees as we hit half time.
The second half started with the Bees forwards working much harder to secure the rucks. It was another swift move from a number of players creating space for our new winger, Will to cross for a well worked try.
Just as we thought the game was beyond Old Rish they again stepped up the pace and kept us pegged back. A try and conversion by them appeared to raise their spirits as they threw everything at us. Whilst being again pinned back deep in our half a great breakaway try from Henry provided the Bees a little breathing space once again.
A conversion by Dom gave the Bees a comfortable lead, or so we thought. The final 15 minutes should have been straight forward for us, especially after a fifth try for the Bees scored by Dom should have put the game to bed. The never say never attitude from Old Rish provided a nervous end to the game. We definitely took our foot off the pedal resulting in two late tries from a very resilient Old Rish squad. Despite this a final score of 27 - 17 to the Bees was well deserved.
Some great performances today across the whole squad. The MOM went to Tom today. He rucked tirelessly and made some great tackles throughout the game.
Another tough game but this is what we need as we approach our semi final in two weeks time. Some fantastic tries scores today involving some great handling skills. Overall, the coaches are very pleased!!! Well done lads and thank you parents.
