Not So Silent Sunday . with both set of supporters giving encouragement to both teams made for a great atmosphere. a credit to both clubs

Local derby day saw Bradford and Bingley away to Keighley with bees 1-0 up in the fixtures was going to make for a great game and so much riding on the match for both teams.
With another down pour of snow and freezing temperatures during the week was anyone's guess if it would melt in time, all bits crossed and lots of hoping it didn't let us down the pitch was heavy in places but was very much playable .
Although we went in front with one of Alarvo's sniping runs from a scrum we was very slow in our start to the game with a huge amount of pressure being put on the bees defensive line from Keighley and credit to the bees for holding there shape, with wave after wave of pressure it was only a matter of time for Keighley to ty up the score with a well work move to go in at the corner, bees just seem to not really get out of first gear but that's not to say the lads worked hard at the breakdown although there's definitely more work in training to tweak some errors that was being made, with some hard running from the forwards it was Rhys in usual running and bulldozing mode to break Keighley's defence crossing over to extend the bees lead but the conditions and pitch was not a day for making the conversion count and with the twoing and throwing from both teams that's how the first half finished with the bees 10-5 to the good .
With a stiff talk between the boys they seemed to come out in the second half with a bit between there teeth definitely starting the better of the two teams strong running from the backs and some well worked lines saw Byron go over for the next score , credit to Keighley they carried on getting into the bees face and forcing the bees to defend again and with some well worked pick and drives made there way up the field and quick ball to there backs created space out wide to go over for there second score , that l think woke the bees up and they started to exert there strength and fitness on the game, l feel that and some big tackles being made ,it was old snake hips him self Matty who was having a massive game today with some quality running and showing his pace that payed off for him to take the next score , this seemed to just take it out of Keighley but again credit to them they was there till the end , it was Alarvo to finish off the game with another sniping run to go under the sticks and with the last play of the game byron drop kicking the conversion with the final score 27-10 .
MoM this week went to theo with his scrummaging and his running and rucking giving Keighley a headache all game layed way for the boys to attack Keighley lines WELL DONE. There was a lot of boys that could be named for there contribution today but once again a very good team display, on a very cold morning thank you parents for braving the conditions to give encouragement to the team .
So boys Tuesday training and lets work on the errors and lets get them ironed out to carry on this amazing run and fantastic season so far.
