Bees In the Dales

The bees found themselves away for the second week in a row so heading over to wharfedale on arrival it was a quick change then another drive to the pitch in foggy conditions which did lift to reveal some stunning veiws of the dales .
So to the game wharfedale started the better and seem to gain the upper hand in the forward battle and with quick hands went over for the first try.This seemed to wake the bees up where sometimes our heads can go down .It was at this point l got a call from the police asking if we new of any bulldozers missing cos thats the best way l can describe the forward running and with some quick hands from the backs Sam opened the bees account with his first try of the season with a great run down the wing. confidence high in the squad we started to turn the the screw in the rucks and forward play turning wharfedale ball over on several occasions and making great hard yards it was Ruhs turn to go over with a great break and out pacing the wharfdale boys.credit to wharfedale they kept coming back at us making there way up the field. Bees going into 2nd half with a 12-5 lead.Bees started where they left off with some big tackles going in and working as a unit in the pack the game got a little scrappy for a sort time but it was bees that had the momentum and made there way up the field where Will showed wharfedale his heels and got round there defence to take a well worked try. Buy now you can guess this was a different bees team we were seeing, confident but showed there are still a few things we can work on.We allowed wharfedale to get back in the game and they went over for a score what was good to see were our boys talking to each other.
Once again we stepped up the tempo and found our selves on there try line with Alvero taking a great try from the base of the ruck that Ben youngs would of been proud of (sorry tigers fan).We could mention the whole team individually for a great performance,But would like to mention our two new lads who were playing there first game with us, Matty and Connor show they will be a great asset to the team with some great running and defence work well done lads and welcome. MOM being shared with the twins for there never say die attitude and tackling and taking the game to wharfedale. Would Also like to say a big thank you to the parents getting the lads to the games and supporting the team the management team welcome your support and also your commitment to the U15s bees.Can we please ask that at the end of the games can we try and meet in the clubhouse where we can join the coaches as they debrief the lads of the game and award MOM many thanks from your management team.And again we keep saying this but the more boys we get to training and work hard the more performances we can carry forward like the one today.
