Bees U9's extra squad played two exciting games against Huddersfield away in squally and muddy conditions. Both games were close contests with Huddersfield edging the games with superior tackling and gaining territory from it. Joshua rallied his side with 3 players on loan from Huddersfield, James, Harry & Edward who really did enter into the spirit of the game wearing Bees shirts. There were some great attacking moves from all the squad and Bees did well to contain an organised and experienced Huddersfield side. Alfie and Harry scored nice tries, and Fernando was terrier-like around the paddock and fearless in his tacking. Thomas and Joshua battled hard against clever defensive play and did their best to unsettle the opposition. The Bees in all credit to them worked tirelessly and never gave up in heavy conditions. We look forward to being back at home next Sunday against Salem to hopefully enjoy our first victory of 2015. Well battled lads!
