The boys seemed to fire on all cylinders today against a popular and talented Huddersfield side. Excellent support play, phenomenal passing and ferocious try saving tackles ensured the two games played were of the highest standard and a joy to watch.
The man of the match award for attack went to Tom Deacon with some determined running however it was an almost impossible choice given the commitment made by the whole team. Ben Feather was awarded man of the match for defence, again a hard call given the standard of defence. One of the most enjoyable games to watch yet and the boys are certainly showing exceptional skills in keeping the ball alive and the game flowing.
Many thanks to the Huddersfield referee who provided a sterling service and to Tracey Deacon for volunteering for kit washing duties and for providing the chocolate drinks.
I hope you all have a very merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year. I look forward to our first training session of the New Year on Sunday the 5th of January 2014 at the hive.
