What a day for rugby... the weather provided lots of sun and warmth one would expect on a summers day not November in Halifax! With a fantastic turnout of 9 x teams the day started with Bees playing against North Ribb; second game Skipton followed by Huddersfield finished off with a great contest at the end against Baildon. Some fantastic defensive and attacking from George Williams who throughout all the games took the lead. Supported closely by Jacob who demonstrated some dashing footwork and gain and some fantastic running by Nathan who lined up Bees try against Baildon. Curly blasted his way through a couple of lines creating some great gain for the Bees; closely followed by Hodgy; Thomas Newton and Miles who all created lots of advantages for the BEEs. Our newest member Harry Whitehead showed some great positioning and leadership on the pitch whilst Jack Dooley performed some solid tackling.
Despite the final scores, the BEEs U10s demonstrated good spirit both on the pitch and off, a team you can be proud of.
Well done boys.
