Lucy Cochrane opened the "Go Fund Me" campaign on the first day that we all put on our wellies and waded into the swilly brown stuff on December 27th.

Those of you who have been following the total on that fund raiser will have noticed that the pace has slowed somewhat and the current total is somewhere north of £8,000.

In truth, the contributions have not dried up as we have received a number of cheques and other payments direct to the club's bank account totalling around £3,600, which another fantastic amount to have gathered in.

We will continue with the fund raising and we will also be holding a "thank you" knees up, possibly in March, for all those who gave up so much of their time to help us.
