Our third fixture of the season was a three-team match away at Morley. A squad of 9 players played two 20 minute games against strong squads from Morley and Old Brodlians.

Match 1; Bees (c. Benji) v Morley.
Bees opened the scoring from the kick off and scored again quickly for solid lead. Morley pulled back by scoring a couple of trys before the Bees backline bedcame coordiated and stopped the opposition's attacking game to ensure they stayed ahead at half time. The second half continued with strong running from all the Bee's team to keep the score board turning over and their strong defence kept Morley chasing the score. Bees finished winners of the match at 11-7.

Match 2; Bees (c. Joe) v Old Brodlians.
A slightly disorganised start by Bees allowed Old Brod's to be ahead on the score sheet inside a couple of minutes. but a more determined defence by Bees with great tagging by the whole squad held the Old Brod's attack. All of the Bees squad took part in their attacking game and Bees try score mounted to get the lead. Building on the basics of solid defence and good running lines Bees finished ahead for a well earned win.
