Aireborough just too much for Bingley

The spring in the step of the Bees Under 7s was evident as they walked onto the pitch, not letting the blustery conditions undermine their confidence in another win. However it was clear from the outset that this would be a tough match, both sides ensuring that no score was offered up easily.

Great tagging was required for and great tagging was offered up, with Joseph launching himself at the opponents and more often than not coming up with the coloured plastic. However the turnover play was fast and the Lions charged up the pitch, using the quick play to put a number over the Bees try line.

The Bees did have an answer and on a number of occasions they found the gaps and angles. Zac, Kian and Sam all used pace to score notable individual tries, and key support play from the likes of Ruaridh, Gregory and Alex ensured that the Bingley side looked and played like a team.

In the end though Aireborough's strength was too much and they secured had secured a 2 point margin by the end of the first half. This was stretched to 3 with a final score was 13 - 10. Despite the loss the Bees Under 7s walked out of Nunroyd Park with their heads held high, ready for their final outing in the 2013/14 season in 2 weeks time.
