Spring was the underlining message of the day. Not had the weather improved but the U7's Bees had a positive spring in their step. Following the recent disruption of cancelled games due to bad weather it was clear the U7's boys were hungry to win a game of rugby.
It was within seconds following the ref's whistle that Ronan set the lead with a sprint to Keighley's try line. Confidence soon spread amongst the boys and it was soon followed up by a winning try from Elliot.
Injured Jacob supported the team by some great cheering (and whistling!) from the touch line which spurred the boys on. Keighley attacked back but it was enthusiastic defending rom Bees that prevented Keighley's try's.
Jack took on a stirling run which was too much for Keighley and then Josh had a clear opportunity to score and that he did by clearing the try line!
The winning try came from a brilliant run by Sam - who saw a 15m sprint opportunity, went for it and untagged by Keighley went onto score the winning try.
Some cleaver running, swift passing and determined scoring from the boys Bees won the day.
