BRILLIANT BEES STICK TO THE GAME PLAN AND STRIKE GOLD AT BAILDON.

A drizzly morning welcomed the BEES u13s at Baildon's, Jenny Lane ground. Despite the weather the BEES were in mixed form separated by those players who went to bed in god time and those who stayed up to watch Fury's boxing fight in the early hours on Sunday morning!

None the less the boys were in good spirit. Strong words before the game from Boss Hogg Senior straightened the BEES focus, supported by wise words from Beesman Senior 1) Complacency and 2) Stick to the game plan... well the boys proved Mega Watts, Boss Hogg Senior and Beesman Senior that occasionally they do listen from time to time!

With injuries from Ismael Rocket man; Magic Dan; and Jimmy King Cobra including absences from Anaconda Fryers and Bilal Sniper the BEES knew there was no room for complacency, with only 13x players and none in reserve.

Led by captain George Willie, Bite Your Legs, the BEES faced Baildon with a forward attacking line stealing much possession in the first quarter dominating Baildon's half. Despite his four hour sleep, Isaac Tomahawk pursued some outstanding attacking, pushing forward through Baildon's defence offloading to Flying Beesman Charlie to steal the lead for the BEES. And the BEES forwards were on form too stealing rucks and winning the scrums, supported by some great offloads from BEES scrum-half Jacob Killer Watts, it was soon clear Baildon's forwards were no match for BEEs, with strength from Curly The Chieftain Tank, Thomas The Warhorse, Nathan Boss Hogg and James The The Red, Amber and Black Engine pushing through Baildon's defence.

Some great work from Isaac Tomahawk and our own Spaniard Galatico, who both went on to score two more spectacular tries for BEEs and leading 20-0 by half time.

The second half moved to a great start with some further offloads at the rucks from killer Watts, working it down the line to, Smiler The Laughing Assassin, and Isaac, Tomahawk finally offloading to The Flying Beesman again to take the score to 25-0.

Baildon pushed back in the third quarter with some counter rucking and went onto score a try against BEES taking the score to 30-5. Wake up time for the BEEs.

The fourth quarter saw the BEES newest entry Jack, Green Demon work some brilliant tackling and attacking and offloading to his team mates always supported by Oliver Hercules and Harry Houdini who went onto score a try from a 40m run cutting through the Baildon defense.

George Bite your legs worked his team hard today, with some great communication all game and continued attacking play. Some bad luck for BEES in the last few minutes with a forward pass from Bite Your Legs, to his supporting player Oliver Hercules who went onto score a try only for it to be no try and brought back to the scrum.

None the less for all his efforts, supporting and leading his team to victory, player man of the match was deservedly presented to George Williams. Best attitude went to James Richardson, The The Red, Amber and Black Engine for his fair and honest play on and off the pitch.

Thanks to our hosts Baildon, who put in a great effort and hosted our game.

Well done BEES - great game, Wharfedale away next week!
