Toughest Game yet this season?

It is not very often I am lost for words but I cannot praise your sons enough after Sunday's performance. From my point of view that was one of the best games I have ever seen our lads play. The defence from each and every one of the lads was absolutely fantastic. I will not name any individuals as this was a team effort in every sense. The only disappointment was that we gave away two soft tries within the first couple of minutes which eventually cost us the game. There was no doubt Keighley were after revenge after we beat them in the Yorkshire cup earlier in the season. On a day when we had 7 players missing it was always going to be tough against a strong Keighley outfit.

Our players soon realised what they were up against and slowly began to work as a team. We finished the first half a couple of tries down despite beginning to play how we know they can. The second half was a different story, we competed in every aspect of the game, our pack was strong in the scrums and ruck areas with the backs attacking Keighley at every opportunity. When Keighley did come close to our line the defence was nothing short of amazing. They were camped on out 5m line for nearly 10 minutes and never scored, it was epic.Despite sending in their big lads at us time after time our line held eventually forcing errors from Keighley. Even though we scored a number of tries in the second half Keighley managed to hold a 5 point advantage over us after sending their huge winger in for the decider.

Overall a fantastic game, very tough, competitive and played in a good spirit (mostly). Congratulations to both teams. Final score Keighley 30 - Bees 25.

No man of the match, I would defy anyone to have picked an individual based on this game. Give your sons a pat on the back today, not too hard they are probably shattered.
