Making the wrong decisions in the right places undid the Bees this week.

This week the Bees was at home to Keighley second team. So far the Bees having not the best start to the new season, and just missing out to late scores, this game was to be the same for the Bees, with some late decisions going against them that was questionable but the lads gave it their all and it was a case we beat ourselves this week making wrong decisions in the right parts or the park was to cost them this week.
Once again the Bees struggling with players through injuries and unavailability the Bees just had a team to face Keighley, so this was to make it even more so playing smart, it was clear to see Keighley had a much bigger group of forwards, clear from the off how they was going to use them, but all to often Bees try to match big packs who play it close to the breakdowns so playing straight in to the hands other other teams, which they are more than happy to do all game, what we lack in size this young Bees team make up in speed just moving the ball around he pitch and pulling big packs about which they don't like as they get tired very quickly but this comes with experience and the young lads will learn this in time, but that's not to same the Bees allowed Keighleys forward free running and stood up in the tackling stakes, which over the game you could see frustrated some of Keighley bigger players.
It was mid way through the first half the Bees lost a player to the sin bin, not understanding what the y had done and a lack of a reason just gave to more scratching of the head, but this was not going to be the first of some decisions going against the Bees, but all you can do is play to the whistle, and just try get back to playing your own game, but when a keighley player started a fight right in front of the ref and it not to be punished, it had a lot of people on the side watching the game wondering what the Bees just had to do as the penalty count was once again to high from the Bees and this is definitely something needs looking at by the team as a whole and silly one each week will get in the way of the hard work they are putting in on the training fields.
There is a lot of positives coming out at this early in the season and with a bit more work and more players getting down to training it will definitely pay dividend this season. the had Alex Leadbetter and Dominic Liversidge for the second week breaking the white wash to pick up a try each with a lot of hard work and hard running. with Andy Nezts joining them popping up to finish off what can only be described as a perfect team try with Ryan Wilson using his speed down the wing to gain the yards and beating several of Keighleys players to pass on to Andy how still had some way to touch down but so far try of the season and hope many more like that to come, with a great kicking display for Dominic Walker for the second week all Dominic's practicing is paying of in the game for him,
with strong defensive display by Byron Finn again this week frustrating Keighleys big no.8 casing him to knock-on every time he ran at Byron also winning the ball back on many occasions at the breakdown allowing his team to clear their lines.
Not going to carry on with the game, this week the lads was frustrated with themselves as they know the game was there for the taking for them just decision making in the right place could of seen a different score line, positives was the defensive display against a much bigger team, now its about the attacking side and sticking to the decisions that have been made and not going of scripted or just wining it, its a team performance.
Next week is a free week allowing for some of the players to get back to training to start building from there for the next game.
