The Bees played the first half into a strong wind which Morley made good use of to turn around 20:10 ahead. The Bees points came from Martyn Mitchell and Tom Kanauros tries. The Bees also played against strong penalty count including one for pushing in the scrum!

The penalty count improved in the second half but with less than 15 minutes to go the Bees still trailed desite tries from Sam Waites, Tom Kanauros and Tom Gough as Morley fought hard into the wind. Morley finally ran out of steam and the Bees ran in 3 tries at the end from Tom Gough, Joe Burton and Adam Wellington to secure a big points win.

It was good to be able to get xmas out of the way and start the new year with a win. We do need to sort out the penalty count and that needs to be a priority next week at Cleckheaton.
