2nds vs Leeds Met

Another good run out against a top varsity team in a training match. New player Georgi repaid his welcome to his new club by powering over the line for a first half try after the Met had scored twice. This set up a really close phase of the match as we competed well at every play. Our momentum was rudely stopped by a bad injury to our talisman prop Hastie. After that we played the game more on the back foot against a very fast and slick Met back line and they ran in two more tries before Morton ended several good phases of Bees rugby with a great try on the left wing. The match ended 5 minutes early as we went down to 14 players but another good run out for our lads as we get prepared for our league season to start a week on saturday. Cleck this week ought to give us the perfect preparation.
