Bradford and Bingley began their Aire-Wharfe Cup campaign with a 29-22 win at Old Otliensians tonight.
Tries for the Bees second string came from flanker Martin Mitchell (2), winger Tom Gough (2) and full back Dan Cookson, who added two conversions.
Otliensians, who were level at 5-5 and 10-10 but never ahead last night, managed tries by scrum half Rob Lofthouse, wingers Carlos Hassan and Nick Keinhorst and centre Dale Kennedy, Will Foster landing a conversion.
Bramley Phoenix won 22-5 at Roundhegians Seconds with tries from Jonny Fillin, Adam Oliver, Aaraon McHale and Bruce Cowley, Sam Coates tagging on a conversion, while the consolation try came from Jack Hooper.
Yarnbury triumphed 24-12 at Skipton.
