This role would ideally suit an ambitious forwards player coach who is looking for a stepping stone to drive a club with its three-year vision of playing rugby within North Premier from North One East. Candidates will hold Level 2 and would potentially be looking to progress to Level 3 while gaining the relevant experience.
Applicants seeking an initial Forward Player/Coach role would be especially welcome.
Key Responsibilities will be:
•Assist to Prepare, select, and supervise the 1st XV / 2nd Team for Saturdays
•Assist with training sessions Tuesday and Thursday evenings for all senior/junior club players
•Mentor 2nd/3rd/ & Colts Coaches/Management
•Help with player recruitment and retention
Person Specification:
· A good communicator and leader who is inclusive and embodies the ethos of the club
· Player Centred – able to get the best out of individuals and create an environment for them to succeed
· Commitment to development of young players including transition from junior to senior rugby
