With the Autumn Internationals put to bed - it will be time for the 6 Nations by the time you have stopped going to the gym in February

The 6 Nations is nearly upon us. This year's schedule sees England playing 3 games at home and all England's 5 games being played on Saturdays.

England begin with a home game against France on Saturday 4th February. That game kicks off at 16.50. We currently have no 1st team fixture on that Saturday.

The England game is preceded by Scotland v Ireland from Murrayfield, which kicks off at 14.25; it is followed by the Sunday game between Wales and Italy which kicks off at 2pm.

The following weekend we have a HOME first team fixture against Malton and Norton, which will kick off at 2.15pm, which gives you plenty of time to stock up on the ale before England face Wales at 16.50 or Ten to Five in old money.

At the same time that the Bees are playing Malton and Norton, the Italy v Ireland game will be on the telly and the Sunday fixture that weekend, kicking off at 3pm is France v Scotland.

the third weekend of the Championship sees England playing Italy with a 3pm kick off on Sunday 26th February.

Two weeks later on Saturday 11th March, England host Scotland with a 4pm kick off and again we currently have a First XV game scheduled against Dinnington.
Wales v Ireland gets that weekend under way with a Friday night kick off, 8.05pm, just between me and you.
The final fixture of that weekend is a 1.30pm kick off before the England v Scotland dust up, when Italy play France.

Round 5 of the 6 Nations will take place on Saturday 18th March, with the big game supposed to England V Ireland to decide the title if the TV schedulers get their wish.

Paddy's day weekend in Dublin should be a tough one for England, but it could be an excuse to come down to Wagon Lane and sup some of the black stuff yourself. The England v Ireland game kicks off at 5pm.

The day gets under way with Scotland playing Italy at 12.30 pm, followed by France playing Wales in Paris at 14.45.

Look out for Benji Pickin's Fantasy 6 Nations being launched some time in the New Year just to add a bit of interest to proceedings.
